Luke 8:54-55 (NKJV)

“But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat” 

God wants you to live. The length of time we get knocked down in life may have been so long, that it can cause us to feel like we’re dead inside. We almost don’t remember how it feels to be alive, to be ourselves, to be happy, to worship God and mean it, or to be full of Jesus and His rest. 

Your life is hidden in Christ. Begin to enjoy your life. Even if you have to do something small like go eat at your favorite restaurant today as an act of your faith, then do it. You can go after His plans for you. Jesus raised you up so you can live again. Don’t just get saved, God wants you to live!

Prayer: Father, I praise You today. My life is hidden in Christ. I thank You for a great life before me. Jesus, you raised me up, and now you say live! Whatever you would have me do as an act of my faith, I will, but help me not to continue to beat myself up about what I went through. I’m going to enjoy life. I’m going to live. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
